In August 2019, we opened our first home in downtown Raleigh for women survivors of trafficking, prostitution and addiction.
Through our program, residents have the opportunity to utilize our community’s resources and secure medical, dental and psychological care while they receive skills training and opportunities for employment through our justice enterprise.
We want to get women off the streets for good, creating a solid foundation for a fresh start and a new life in
The BLOOM home is located in Raleigh, North Carolina and houses women survivors of abuse, addiction, prostitution and trafficking. These women share a safe place to live and heal with other BLOOM sisters.
• Supports adult women ages 18 +
• Required stay of 2 years
• Free-of-charge for participants
A compassionate and professional team will provide the services necessary for mental, physical, and spiritual well-being for each woman in BLOOM.
• Therapy and medical care
• Substance rehabilitation support
• Physical health and wellness
Our justice enterprise provides employment opportunities for each BLOOMER
to start claiming a life of economic independence.
Individual enhancement plans and skills training are provided by our team to help each woman meet her personal aspirations and ensure a successful future for each BLOOMER post-program.
In the BLOOMING phase, our residents may obtain leadership roles within the program,
and extend their participation as advocates to raise awareness in the Raleigh community.
Each voice is empowered to share the message of hope to other potential women in need.
Women survivors who complete our 2-year program become sisters for life in the BLOOMHERE community, well-prepared to set out on a path to reach their highest aspirations.
We provide transitional support to start the next phase of their journey with confidence, including guidance for permanent housing, a vehicle and stable employment.
“She has been feeling it for awhile – that sense of awaking.
There is a gentle rage simmering inside her, and it is getting stronger by the day.
She will hold it close to her – she will nurture it and let it grow.
She won’t let anyone take it away from her. It is her rocket fuel and finally, she is going places.
She can feel it down to her very core – this is her time.
She will not only climb mountains – she will move them too.”
